If Your Computer Runs Slow it Could Be Time For a Software Cleaning

Tired of waiting for a reply after you click the icon? Is preparing a sandwich faster than getting information or performing a simple task? Don't keep friends or relatives waiting at the door while you struggle with simple household bookkeeping. Most of the time when a computer runs slow a registry cleaning software is needed to eliminate the items that have caused the problem and decreased the computer's speed.

This situation can be compared to a library when the index cards don't match the books on the shelves and confusion follows. The short and most proficient way to find a book or other item is to use a simple listing that points to a larger location where the selection can be found.

The PC is no different when the register points of data do not match the entry list and errors occur. In a library attempts to resolve the problem would be like searching the shelves to find the missing books. Obviously it would be a quicker to find the books if the index pointed accurately to the location of the books.

A register and associated files are the same way. The cleaner will purge entries that cannot be associated with a file; Resolve duplicate entries; Eliminate junk files or ones without an associated registry entry; and basically cleanup and optimize.

Also, corrupted files, software that was not installed or removed properly and fragmented disk drives are corrected. The storage space that is freed up is then available for future use. And more space will provide better performance.

Because the balance between the register and its files is so critical an audit trail is maintained so the process is completely reversible, just in case something goes wrong. Not all register repair systems are the same. Some do not have all the protection measures included.
